Nature Nancy; Engaging the Senses

Join us on the first PA Day of the year and let’s have some fun outside with
Nature Nancy!

Friday September 27th, 9:30am - 11:00am

Please join us for a super fun Friday morning spent outside!!!!!

How far can owls really see?
How does a fox move in silence?

Let’s explore the forest and natural area using all 5 senses.

Heightening the senses allows children to experience the natural world more intently as they take notice of new discoveries within nature.

Activities will take place along the Medd’s Mountain trail system and will focus on using our senses to discover our natural world.  We will explore rain or shine so please come ready for the weather and for an enjoyable morning of discovery.

Babies can easily participate by being worn or carried by parents and caregivers!!!!

Please email or call 795-932-7088 to register or for more information.

Keeping our Families Informed.

We have had some families ask, "How old do caregivers need to be when they bring children to the Child and Family Centre?"

Our policy that a caregiver needs to be at least sixteen years of age when bringing children into the Child and Family Centre.

However, younger caregivers are always welcome to play with the children in their care at the outdoor mud kitchen when they are enjoying the park and property at The Old Millbrook School.

All families are welcome to our usual Drop In days. We do however realize that we needed to also offer a Drop In such as this where families can children with sensory processing challenges can also connect with other families who may have similar experiences.
Please let us know if you have any questions at all.
