Employment Opportunities

The Old Millbrook School Family Centre, incorporated in 2001, is a non-profit agency dedicated to the care, nurturing, and well-being of children.
The Centre takes a community-directed approach to providing accessible programs, services, and resources that are aimed at meeting the needs of children and families living in our community.
OMSFC is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the following positions:

- Centre Administrator (1 position, 35 hours/week)
- Program Staff (2 positions, 21-28 hours/week)
  1. Deadline for applications is March 31st.  No late applications will be accepted.
  2. Please specify which role you are applying for (Centre Administrator or Program Staff).
  3. Please review the job specifications (links below) for more information about the roles.  
  4. Applications should include a covering letter outlining your qualifications and should be no more than 3 pages in length.
  5. We thank all who apply but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

Flu season is upon us - Music & Movement is relocating.

Please note that Centennial Place in Millbrook, the location where our Music & Movement program is held, is currently closed for due to the influenza outbreak.  This means that our program will be re-located to the Old Millbrook School Family Centre until further notice.  Our address is 1 Dufferin Street, and we are located on the lower level, below the Library.

January dates for Music and Movement are Monday Jan 15th and Monday Jan 29th from 10am - 11am.

Please pass along this information to anyone who normally attends Music & Movement!  And we hope our friends at Centennial Place are staying in good health and make a speedy recovery. Thank you!

Music & Movement is back!

We are delighted to announce that Music & Movement is back at Centennial Place for another year! Thanks to our fabulous volunteers Nancy and Lee, volunteer coordinator Angie, and our welcoming hosts at Centennial Place for making this free and fun activity possible!  Dates alternate around holidays and are listed below.

Family Centre Closed Aug 28 - Sept 1

Please note that the Family Centre is closed next week - Aug 28 -  Sept 1st.  We will reopen on Tuesday September 5th and look forward to welcoming all of our friends back for another year of free family fun!

Some dates to remember:

- Our monthly potluck date has been moved to Thursday Aug. 24 at the Family Centre due to our closure next week.

- Story Tree will take place at the Millbrook Farmer's Market at 11am on Sunday August 27th.

- The Millbrook Zucchini Festival will take place on Sunday September 10th.

We will be posting information soon about Music and Movement and our other dates and programs in the coming weeks.
