Calling all parents and caregivers!
Join our Fundraising Working Group.
The Organization that operates our Child and Family Centre Program is The Old Millbrook School EarlyON Child and Family Centre Inc. The OMSFC Inc. is responsible each year for raising $5,000 of our EarlyON Child and Family Centre's Operational Budget.
We are looking for Parents, Caregivers, and Community Members who are able to donate some of their time and creativity to helping us plan and put on events and other ideas that will support our fundraising efforts.

Volunteer
There are many ways you can get involved by volunteering. You could:

Volunteer your time at a special event

Volunteer to clean and sanitize toys used in program

Share and like our posts on social media

Volunteer to support our fundraising efforts

Distribute program post cards in the community
We would greatly appreciate your involvement. If you are interested in having your name added to a list of volunteers that can be contacted occasionally to help out with special events, please provide us with your name, phone number, and email address.
Join the Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is a group of volunteers who work behind the scenes to oversee the management of the family centre. We would love to hear your ideas! If you would like to have input into what goes on at the family centre, we welcome you to attend our monthly meetings or join as a member of the board.

Duties of the Board of Directors include:

Attend monthly meeting to discuss centre operations

Support advertising and promotion

Support the professional growth of the Program Staff

Prepare funding and grant applications
-
Organize community and fundraising efforts

Joining the Board of Directors is a great way to get involved in your community and meet new people. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact the OMSFC.

Contribute to our daily healthy snacks! Bring in fresh fruit, crackers, or cheese.

Monetary donations are graciously accepted. As an Organization, we are responsible for raising $5,000 of our annual operation budget on an ongoing basis.

How to Donate:​

Cheque - made payable to The Old Millbrook School Family Centre Inc. If you would like a charitable tax receipt for monetary donations above $20, please let the staff know.

Through the United Way - If you work for a business or organization that allows you to contribute to an Organization through the United Way, you can direct your contributions to The Old Millbrook School Family Centre Inc.

Recycled Kids Peterborough
Are you going through your children's closets and looking for a way to make the clothes you are no longer needing make a difference some how? Why not take them to Recycled Kids Peterborough on Lansdowne Street East and ask them to direct the money earned be directed to The Old Millbrook School Family Centre account?
