Did you know that the stick was inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame in 2008 in the USA?
Children have always known that when they use their imagination a stick can become whatever they wish.
Today as we make our way through the forest we'll take a look, up, at the branches on the trees and see if we can find any that have fallen. Could a stick become a wand? A walking stick? Could it be transformed into a piece of art? Anything is possible.
Bring your children for a morning of imagination and creative outdoor fun.
Dress for whatever the weather may bring! Sunhats and sunscreen will be important and long sleeves and pants can help protect you and your child from bug bites.
