THEMED ACTIVITIES and EVENTS
THEMED ACTIVITIES:
Every few weeks, we focus on a particular topic. For example, we may explore shapes, colours, families, our senses, or winter. Our organized activities are designed with these "monthly" themes in mind. On a particular day, for example, your child may make a craft that focuses on colour, read a story that has an emphasis on colour, and sing a few songs with lyrics about colour. Books on the children's shelf are also rotated to fit each theme. Please check our Calendar section to find out what our current theme is and a list of planned activities.
Craft Time: approximately 9:30 a.m until 11:00 a.m.
Story Time: approximately 11:15 a.m.
Snack Time: approximately 11:30 a.m.
Circle Time: approximately 11:50 a.m.
THEMED EVENTS:
Throughout the year we host a variety of "themed events" at Stay and Play. Scarecrow building, the Halloween party and the Christmas party are very popular (all are welcomed). The last Thursday of each month is POTLUCK, which are often themed based. Please check our Calendar section to find out when our next Stay and Play event is happening.
