Get ready to work up a sweat (or at least have a lot of fun) being active and busy at the Family Centre's free drop-in gym program. This runs the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9:30 til' 11:30 and takes place upstairs at the Old School, in the Dorothy Stevens Room on the 3rd Floor.
Lots of fun gym equipment is put out, including balls, balance boards, tunnels, plasma cars and more. Physical activity is so important for growing little bodies and most children in Canada do not get enough exercise each day. Please stay for snack after, downstairs in the Family Centre.
Thanks to the Township of Cavan Monaghan for donating the use of the Dorothy Stevens room for this important program!
