Calling all Parents and Caregivers!
Would you please consider joining our Fundraising Working Group?The Organization that operates our Child and Family Centre Program is The Old Millbrook School EarlyON Child and Family Centre Inc.
The OMSFC Inc. is responsible each year for raising $5000 of our EarlyON Child and Family Centre's Operational Budget.
We are looking for Parents, Caregivers, and Community Members who are
able to donate some of their time and creativity to helping us plan and
put on events and other ideas that will support our fundraising efforts.

Volunteer
There are many ways you can get involved by volunteering. You could:
- donate a baked good for our bake sales,
- sell tickets during our raffles,
- distribute flyers for up-coming events,
- volunteer your time at a special event
We would greatly appreciate your involvement. If you are interested in having your name added to a list of volunteers that can be contacted occasionally to help out with special events, please provide us with your name, phone number and email address.
Join the Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is a group of volunteers who work behind the scenes
to oversee the management of the family centre. We would love to hear your
ideas! If you would like to have input into what goes on at the family centre,
we welcome you to attend our monthly meetings or join as a member of the board.
Duties of the Board of Directors include:
1. attend monthly meeting to discuss centre operations,
2. develop and implement programming,
3. coordinate advertising and promotion,
4. supervise staff,
5. prepare funding and grant applications,
6. organize special events,
7. communicate with community groups and public.

Joining the Board of Directors is a great way to get involved in your community
and meet new people. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact
the OMSFC.
Donate
You may donate your time. Why not volunteer in some way?
We are always looking for contributions of fresh fruit, crackers, and cheese for the healthy snack we offer daily.
We also graciously accept monetary donations as well. As an Organization, we are responsible for raising $5000 of our annual operation budget on an ongoing basis.
If you would like to donate through etransfer, you are welcome to send contributions to omsfc@nexicom.net and it will be deposited automatically. If you would like a charitable tax receipt for monetary donations abve $20, please let the staff know. Cheques can be made payable to The Old Millbrook School Family Centre Inc.
Do you work for an business or organization that allows you to contribute to an Organization through United Way? Did you know you could direct your contributions to The Old Millbrook School Family Centre Inc.?
Are you going through your children's closets and looking for a way to make the clothes you are no longer needing make a difference some how? Why not take them to Recycled Kids Peterborough on Lansdowne Street East and ask them to direct the money earned be directed to The Old Millbrook School Family Centre account?
