Outdoor PA Day Fun

Please join us for a morning of outdoor winter fun.
The weather looks like it is going to be beautiful and we can't wait to see all of you.

We will be welcoming Natalie from Camp Kawartha Environment Centre. Natalie along with our staff, will be offering lots of outdoor fun for families.

Please note, this event takes place at The Cavan Monaghan Community Centre and requires preregistration.











March Break Outdoor Fun and Pizza Party

Friday March 13th 9:30am - 12:00pm 


Please join us for a morning of sledding , outdoor fun and possibly skating at The Old School.

We have some toboggans and snow shovels available to enjoy. Families are welcome to bring their own sleds, skates and of course helmets if you choose to skate. Please dress to play outdoors for the morning.

Families who have registered in advance will be welcome to enjoy a pizza party inside our smaller program room at 11:30am.

We do require families to register by Tuesday March 10th if they plan to join us for lunch.

The outdoor activities will be a drop-in style and there is no need to register in advance for them.

March Break Spring is in the Air Event

Tuesday March 17th, 10:00am - 11:00am


Did you know that some seeds that are planted in veggie gardens need to be started in March? We are so excited to grow our veggie garden for a third summer in a row!

Please join us as we start some of the seeds we will later plant in our garden plot!

We will also be making and painting milk carton bird feeders. Children will get to bring home some seed to put in the feeders they make!

March Break Cooking Together, Eating Together

Wednesday March 18th, 10:30am - 11:30am 


Join us to make yogurt and honey fruit cups together. 

Children will have the chance to chop the fruit we will add to our yogurt cups! For any children who are allergic to dairy, we will make little fruit salads.

Encouraging children to help prep the food they will be eating is a great way to increase their interest in the foods we would like them to eat.

Let's get messy! 

Children learn so much when as many of their senses as possible are engages when they play. 

We will also explore science through play!

Please join us on the fourth Tuesday of each month for a opportunity to chat with a Public Health Nurse about your child's growth and development.

No appointment needed.

Prenatal Support and Information
Toilet Training
