Stroller Walk (Indoors)

Please join us on Friday mornings from 9:00am - 9:50am in December as we walk the indoor walking track at The Cavan Monaghan Community Centre!

Please bring indoor footwear.

 

**Proof of double vaccination will be required and must be shown prior to entering the building each week..
**Masks will be encouraged for all adults and children over the age of two years.

 Nature Explorers

Join us Wednesdays in December from 12:30pm - 1:30pm for this weekly outdoor program.

Think back to your childhood and moments spent outside: the wonderful squish of mud between your toes; the scurrying of bugs racing to escape an overturned log; the serious focus of building that perfect snow fort; the concern and effort made to help a turtle cross a road.
These moments stay with us for a lifetime. And so does their impact. Spending time exploring our natural world in our childhood and youth not only creates rich, meaningful memories but becomes the building blocks for our health and well-being into adulthood. "

We do use the trails for this program.

Infants should be in worn carriers as the trails aren't easy to navigate with strollers.

Fun in the First Year

We invite parents with infants 0-12 months to join us Wednesday mornings from 10:00am - 11:00am in December.

 

The first year of your baby's life is a time of change, discovery, and often many questions. We invite you and your baby to come out and meet other families with babies for discussion around a variety of topics.

Discover, explore and play together with your baby while connecting with other families through music, songs, finger plays, rhyming, conversation, and other activities.

 

This program will take place indoors.

 Indoor Stay and Play (Four Options to Choose From)

 

Join us  in December for an hour and a half of unstructured play indoors in our beautiful large program room.

 

Please read full program description below.

 

Families choose from one of four option to register for:

 

Tuesdays; 9:30am - 11:00am

Tuesdays; 12:30pm - 2:00pm

Thursdays; 9:30am - 11:00am

Thursdays; 12:30pm - 2:00pm

Unfortunately, we cannot register different families week to week. 

 

We can only offer a very limited number of spaces so we respectfully ask families to register for this program if they know they will be available to attend weekly unless someone is under the weather or unforeseen circumstance arise.

Music and Movement in December

 

This program will run three Mondays in December beginning on December 6th.

From 10:00am - 11:00am.

Please join us as we move, dance and shake our sillies!

 

This program will be held in the Dorothy Stevens Room at The Old Millbrook School.

Hello Everyone.

 

We wanted to let you know that although we are not accepting registrations for December in advance of the Programs being posted the week of November 15th, we will be adding additional Stay and Play times to meet the demand for the programs so keep an eye out for when they are posted.

 

We register participants in order of when email registration requests are received.

Those who did not get a chance to enjoy the Indoor Stay and Play the month prior will be given priority over those who did attend. This is to try and create accessibility to all programs for everyone.
