Important Memo for All Families.

 

Due to the 28 day Lock down announcement today for Ontario beginning on December 26th, our programs will remain closed after the holidays.

This means that all the programs we had scheduled to begin the week of January 4th are now canceled.

We will be offering virtual programming on Facebook.

Please keep an eye on our website and social media for news of when we will be able to offer any type of in person programs (indoor or outdoor) again.

 Thursday Learning Trails - In Partnership with The CMLibraries

Thursdays from 11:00am - 12:00pm

Join us at the Old Millbrook School for a fun Learning Trail hosted by the OMSFC EarlyON and the CMLibraries. This is an outdoor physically distanced program.

Phonics Station - learn your letters and their sounds.

 

Story Walk - Enjoy a picture book on the move.

 

Extension Activity - Learn something new!

 

Registration is required.  You may register for one week at a time or multiple weeks!!

 

No Drop-Ins can be permitted at this time.

All adults and children will also have their temperatures taken upon arrival prior to joining in the program.

 

Please note, this is an outdoor program so dress for the weather and bring a blanket to sit on.

Access to the OMSFC portion of the building is not permitted at this time. However, the library is open for curb-side pick up as well as in branch services.

Beginning Wednesday January 6th for three weeks.

Wednesdays; 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Explore the Outdoors; Invitations to Play

Beginning Tuesday January 5th for three weeks.

Tuesdays; 10:00am - 11:00am 

 Come and join us outdoors with materials that invite exploration and play.

We do use the trails for this program.

Infants should be in worn carriers as the trails aren't easy to navigate with strollers.

 

Please dress for the winter weather and wear proper footwear.

 

Registration is required.

The benefits of including the creative arts in an early childhood education are wide ranging, from the physical to the emotional to the mental health and well being.

We will be closed beginning on Monday December 21st and will resume offering Programs on Monday January 4, 2021.
