30th is a Monday which is the day we offer Music and Movement.
Families are invited to wear Orange Shirts to Music and Movement to
honour the survivors of Residential Schools and remember those children
who never made it home.
By helping children understand the
truth in history, we can begin to reconcile the mistakes made while
supporting a better future for every child.
We are so excited to announce this new monthly Drop In specifically for
families and children who experience sensory processing challenges.
All families are welcome to our usual Drop In days. We do however
realize that we needed to also offer a Drop In such as this where
families can children with sensory processing challenges can also
connect with other families who may have similar experiences. Please let us know if you have any questions at all.
The weather didn't cooperate with us for our first swap so we going to try again.
Sunday April 28th from 9:30am - 12:00pm.

Children Doing More with Less; How Opened Ended Materials Can Support Development in the Early Years
As part of our ongoing commitment to offering families high quality early learning opportunities and, in response to your feedback given in the Parent Survey around Early Learning Topics of Interest, we will be offering a morning of exploration for parents and caregivers with Angela Hoar.
This session will offer opportunities to engage with loose parts and explore together:
• Why is it that children seem to do more with less?
• What rich open-ended materials for this play are we overlooking that might be readily available in our homes?
• Why and how learning through play, in an environment rich in open-ended materials, enhances children’s learning?
