The OMSFC Board is pleased to welcome our new Centre Administrator, Nancy Hurley. Some of you may have already met Nancy at Stay n' Play, and we're looking forward to all of the enthusiasm Nancy is bringing to this new role! Here's a bit about Nancy, in her own words:
Nancy Hurley, OMSFC's Centre Administrator |
Let me introduce myself, my name is Nancy Hurley and I am
very excited to be starting a new adventure here at the Old Millbrook School
EarlyON Centre. Over the next months, I
am sure I will be meeting so many of you as you visit the Centre with your
children, grandchildren, etc. Before you
stop in, maybe you're wondering about who I am?
I was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario where I worked
for over seventeen years in the Early Learning and Care Community up until this
past December. I moved up this way six
years ago and I love the area. My family
and I live within an hour of Millbrook with our two dogs and the dogs that we
foster through a local Animal Rescue Organization. I am passionate about the Early Years and I
truly believe in the value in our youngest citizens.
Millbrook is a wonderful community and I am looking forward
to getting to know the people who make it so special. It is an exciting time at the Centre! In the
coming months, the EarlyOn Centre will be growing veggies in the Community
Garden, expanding program hours to offer families a place to stop in on
Sundays, and Picnics in the Park from time to time.
Come by any time and you will be met with a smile. I can't wait to see you!
Warmly.
Nancy Hurley
